Justify the Ld and validate your facade before you submit the project
Spain's DB-HR sets the minimum insulation of each facade from the day noise index Ld. HowNoisy gives you the plot's official Ld and the table 2.1 requirement for free. Blue Noise calculates the Ld of each facade of your building and checks whether your constructive solution complies.

If the official map gives you more than 75 dBA, table 2.1 requires 47 dBA in bedrooms. A facade-by-facade calculation usually lowers that row on facades that do not face the road.
Ld justification report
The official map describes the area in cells tens of metres wide and often puts you in the most demanding row. We model your plot with CNOSSOS-EU (the method of the strategic maps) in SONOTOPIA, with Cadastre buildings and terrain, and calculate Ld, Le and Ln on every facade and floor.

Facade validation
Send us the constructive section and we calculate the D2m,nT,Atr insulation of each protected room following EN ISO 12354-3: solid wall, glazing, frames, roller-shutter box and vents. We tell you whether it complies, with what margin, and the cheapest alternative if it does not.

And when the works are finished, Blue Noise can measure the real insulation on site (EN ISO 16283-3).
