Using HowNoisy does not require an account. Your saved comparison list is stored only in your own browser and never sent to us.

HowNoisy has no user database. To avoid querying the same public data repeatedly, the coordinates of an assessed point and its result are kept temporarily in server memory (up to 24 hours) and are not linked to any person.

To answer a search, the address text is sent to the address services (CartoCiudad / IGN and Nominatim / OpenStreetMap), and the coordinates of the point are sent to the official noise-map services (MITECO, the European Environment Agency, the Generalitat Valenciana) and to OpenStreetMap's Overpass API. If you use “Use my location”, your browser asks for permission and the coordinates are used only to look up that point and its address. Paying for a SONOTOPIA study takes you to Stripe; the order is handled by Blue Noise, S.L. under the study terms of sale. The site is hosted on Fly.io in the European Union (Paris).

HowNoisy does not collect owner or seller information, does not build personal profiles, does not sell data and carries no advertising.

A shared result URL contains only a place name and coordinates. If you write to presupuestos@bluenoise.es, your message is used only to answer you.
